Terms

Tour Route Intent records and checks your choices. It is not navigation, routing, or a safety service.

Using the tool

You may use the app to prepare, export, and inspect route files. You remain responsible for checking legal access, road and path conditions, weather, traffic, ferry operation, water availability, personal ability, and the behavior of every navigation device or app you use.

No safety or compatibility guarantee

Geometric validation checks whether a candidate GPX line passes within a chosen distance of locked points and both directions of locked segments. GPS accuracy, file simplification, coordinate systems, app rerouting, and current conditions can all affect results. A passing check is not a guarantee of safety, access, rideability, or identical turn-by-turn navigation.

Field kit availability

New Field kit purchases are not currently offered. Existing licenses can still unlock local named workspaces and intent-note templates. Core GPX import, export, validation, accessibility, and safety information remain free.

Your files and privacy

You retain ownership of routes and notes you create. The app processes them locally. You are responsible for avoiding private, dangerous, defamatory, or unlawful information in files you share. See the privacy policy for storage details.

Availability and liability

The software is provided “as is,” without warranties of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular trip, or compatibility with another app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sociobot is not liable for route decisions, missed services, injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the app or exported files.

Open-source software

The application source is available under the MIT License. These service terms apply in addition to that software license.
